The Evident Discovery solution reduces review workload by rapidly searching and filtering case datasets to identify relevant document, which may be 10-25% of the original case dataset. As a result, reviewers review only relevant documents and stay focused on subject matter. The Following are some of the Evident Discovery search and filter features.

Simple Keyword Search:

Simple Search is used for single or multiple keywords with basic English operations including AND, OR, NOT. Easily search metadata fields and full text. Evident will maintain search history for each review session. Search results can be copied to folders and bulk tag.

Advanced Search:

Larger queries can be created in Evident’s interactive advanced search screen, which can then be submitted to evaluate the term’s effectiveness and variations. Reviewers can submit simple and advance Boolean, wildcard, fuzzy, and proximity searches.

Nested Search:

Search done with in a search result, helps reviewers to add criteria and to cull down documents. Evident will auto-create nested (sub-search) searches while reviewer submit keywords, this allow reviewers to maintain and track each submitted search as they query the documents.

Focused Search:

Focus your search command to a specific folder, review tag or notes\discussion thread. This allows reviewers to focus their search to designated areas.

Search Term Options:

Evident Discovery identifies and lists search term variations from the data set, which allows reviewers to perform a focused search by including and excluding search terms variation.

Search Term Filters:

Reviewers can perform pro-active searches by using interactive search result filtering for search terms and its variations; this will allow reviewers to sample the search results to evaluate the effectiveness of their search terms.

Saved Search:

Search commands are stored in history and can be saved and modified. Saved searches can be shared with other authorized reviewers.

Sort Search Results:

Reviewer can sort their own search results by metadata fields including domain, sender, recipient and dates. Search results display hit counts for every filter. Users can narrow search results by including and excluding filters to cull down relevant documents.

Use Quick Search with easy English search commands and Advance search for complex Boolean, wildcard, fuzzy, and proximity search. Evident will maintain search history for each review session which can be saved and shared

Pre-defined and Search Term Highlighting:

The Case administrator can set pre-defined keywords with color code highlights while navigating documents. Evident keyword highlight statistics pane gives keyword counts for all keywords on the document level.
